Most of what makes C.Lab affordable is donation money from people who've been. Scholarships, infrastructure, Jenny and Forest's time.
GiveC.Lab is a registered nonprofit. Donations fund scholarship seats, the monthly Zoom infrastructure, facilitator training stipends, and Jenny and Forest's time, which has been underpaid for a long time.
The short version: donations are what let us keep the retreats small, the entry fee low, and nobody turned away for money alone.
Commitment to accessibility and scholarship support is part of how we do this. It's for the children of our children, and all of life. We'd rather stay small and keep it honest than scale and lose the thread.
The Zoom room, the infrastructure, a small piece of a facilitator's time. One gift a month keeps the monthly circle open to anyone who wants to come.
Covers a meaningful chunk of one person's retreat tuition on scholarship. Usually matched with other gifts to close the gap. You won't meet the person, but they'll know someone helped.
One facilitator's yearlong training stipend. That person then runs circles in their own town for years. One gift, a decade of work.

We keep a scholarship fund. It comes from donations and from alumni paying forward. If you want to come and can't pay full fare, write to us. We don't promise anything, but no one has been turned away for money alone, and we'd like to keep it that way.
We're a small operation. Replies come from one of the two of us, usually within a week, sometimes sooner. We read everything. We don't have a sales funnel.
If you're writing about psychedelic work, that lives under a separate related entity called The Church. We'll route the note to the right place.
